HELP, THE POWER COMPANY HAVE CUT ME OFF!?

hi everyone, i'm currently sitting in the dark with no heating or lighting. i rented out my house while i worked abroad for the red cross. the tenants rigged the elec pre-paymeter and when they moved out and the electricity board called round they disconnected me. they want �900 for unpaid electricity before they can reconnect because the account was in my name. what can i do? is it possible to get a Court injunction to reconnect until this mess is sorted. please help. thanks all
