Why is Jamaicans always seen as angry?

I am jamaican decent and most of the time thats not an issue unless I am vexed by something/one. Jamican culture was born out of violence and the struggle to find independece but in todays world if you have any ties to jamaica you either mad or your bad can someone explain this.
