Should I name a dog before I get it?

Personally I think that you should wait until the puppy arrives, look for characteristics and markings that may help you name them :) Maybe not a good idea to name the dog after a previous one either? Memories and all that jaaz :) Best thing you can do with new dogs is let them settle in, play with them a lot and just generally earn their trust. Also be prepared for them peeing everywhere, especially if it is a boy, the puppy will want his or her scent everywhere :)
