Is this normal for an author?

It's normal for them to like to write and want to write and such, but untill you're older and finished completely, I'm not sure you will get many people willing to publish your work, but who knows? My twelve year old friend was attempting to get books published. She got close, a lot of people liked her stuff, but it's normal for you to want to write that's fantastic, but i'm just thinking it might be hard for you to pulish.
