Just a question about Meth-Amphetamine.?

So i dont do meth but was just wondering about the over dose. Meth makes seratonin and dopamine release wich controls your central nervous system so technically wouldnt the dopamine and seratonin be the causes of overdose and not actually the meth itself. also for arguments sake lets say that a person who has absolutly no dopamine or seratonin takes meth could they take a mive dose and not die? I just wonder this becuase i see it listed on the internet that they give haldol to people ODing on meth wich essentially does this. also for this arguments sake were saying its pure 100% methamphetamine unadulterated
