How hard is it to truly find a nice guy? Are they difficult to come by?

I'm 23 and I've been with my bf for a year and 2 months now...he is the definition of a nice sweet guy. However, I just feel that we are not compatible on certain levels, on a ual level. It feels as if we are just good friends and thats it. I feel like I've been trying relentlessly to make him more of what I want in order for us to be compatible. However, I feel tired of it and just want to feel like I have a right fit with someone. The problem is that my bf is one of the nicest men I've known and hes extremely good looking on top of it?! suggestions please???
