Help me...how do I repair my gles?

I was doing my hair, and I happened to put some oil in it. I set my gles down. When I picked them up I got a smudge of the oil on fingers onto the lenses. Normally I just clean my gles with rubbing alcohol so I tried that but the alcohol had no effect whatsoever. So I tried some soap and water and that didn't help...in fact what was interesting was that the soap didn't even lather with the oil. What should I do to get this stuff off...I really need my gles, please help.
